What a lab report covers
- Identity — is the ingredient what the label says it is?
- Quantity — does the content match the declared dose?
- Contaminants — heavy metals, solvents and microbial counts.
- Banned substances — screened against the WADA list.
Testing is batch by batch, which is why the batch code on your tub matters. A brand that passed last year hasn't necessarily passed this month.
